MIG Wires
SUPERLINK-70S
A high-quality copper-coated solid MIG wire with elevated manganese and silicon content for superior deoxidation. Designed for single and multi-pass GMAW welding of mild and low-carbon steel. Produces smooth, stable arc with low spatter, excellent bead appearance, and X-ray quality welds. Suitable for welding over moderate rust or mill scale. Use with CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mixed shielding gas.

Welding procedure & parameters
DCEP. Shielding gas: 100% CO₂ or 75–80% Ar + 20–25% CO₂. Wire diameters: 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6mm. Voltage: 17–26V. WFS: 4–12 m/min. Contact tip-to-work distance: 10–20mm.
Typical applications
General structural fabrication, automotive frames, farm implements, construction equipment, pressure vessels, pipe fabrication, railcar construction, shipbuilding, tanks, general workshop fabrication. High-speed robotic and semi-automatic welding.
Storage & handling notes
Store spools sealed to prevent moisture absorption and oxidation of copper coating. Re-qualify welding procedure when changing wire diameter or shielding gas.
