A high-strength, low-alloy solid MIG wire for welding 90 ksi class ultra-high-strength steels. Mn-Mo alloying for excellent toughness at sub-zero temperatures. X-ray quality welds. Use Ar/CO₂ mix only.

Welding procedure & parameters

DCEP. Shielding gas: 75–80% Ar + 20–25% CO₂ (CO₂ alone not recommended). Wire dia: 0.9, 1.0, 1.2mm. Preheat per base metal specification.

Typical applications

Widely used for the welding of high tensile steel like IS: 8500 grades 540B & 590B or other equivalent steel .For welding of steel to IS: 2062-11 Gr E410,E450 of all quality ,IS 2002-01 grade III, IS: 1875-04 class IIIA or other equivalent steel .

Storage & handling notes

Mandatory preheat and PWHT per applicable WPS. Ar/CO₂ mix only — CO₂ alone degrades toughness. H4 hydrogen control important.
