Hardfacing Electrodes
SUPERLINK-250
A mild-to-moderate abrasion resistance hardfacing electrode depositing a pearlitic structure. Suitable for buildup and restoration of worn parts. Machinable deposits. The deposit hardness is approximately 25–35 HRC (1–2 layers). Good weldability with crack-free deposits on carbon steel. Primarily used for dimension restoration before applying harder overlays.

Welding procedure & parameters
DC+ (DCEP) or AC. Flat and horizontal positions preferred. Preheat 150°C–200°C for medium/high carbon steels. Apply 2–4 layers maximum for full hardness. Typical amperages: 3.15mm: 90–120A; 4.0mm: 130–160A; 5.0mm: 160–200A.
Typical applications
Rebuilding and dimensional restoration of shafts, rollers, wheels, gears, and general machinery parts subject to moderate metal-to-metal wear. Buffer layer preparation before harder hardfacing overlays.
Storage & handling notes
Re-dry at 250°C–300°C/1 hr if moisture-exposed. Preheat medium/high carbon base metals. Allows limited number of passes — see manufacturer's data.
