Hardfacing Electrodes
SUPERLINK-350
A martensitic hardfacing electrode providing moderate-to-high abrasion resistance combined with good impact toughness. Deposits are non-machinable (carbide-tipped tools required). Hardness approximately 40–50 HRC. Suitable for metal-to-metal wear and moderate abrasive conditions. Heat-treatable deposit.

| Notes | Non-machinable — requires carbide-tipped tools |
Welding procedure & parameters
DC+ (DCEP) or AC. Flat and horizontal positions recommended; positional with care. Preheat 200°C–300°C for medium/high carbon base metals. 2–3 layers maximum. Peening of each layer recommended.
Typical applications
Crusher jaws and mantles, bucket teeth, scraper blades, plough shares, mining equipment, dredger teeth, conveyor screws, hammer mill components subject to combined abrasive and impact wear.
Storage & handling notes
Re-dry 250°C–300°C/1 hr. Preheat essential for higher-carbon base metals. Deposit may check-crack on cooling — this is normal for this hardness range.
