SUPERLINK 7018G
An iron-powder, low-hydrogen electrode with enhanced chemistry for improved toughness and strength over standard E7018. The 'G' suffix denotes supplemental requirements on chemistry . Produces X-ray quality welds.

Welding procedure & parameters
DC+ (DCEP). All positions except VD. Re-dry 250°C–300°C/2 hrs. Short arc.

High-strength structural steels, offshore construction, pressure vessels, heavy machinery requiring enhanced mechanical properties compared to standard E7018.
Storage & handling notes
Low-hydrogen type. Diffusible H ≤5 ml/100g. Re-dry before use. Store in holding oven.
