Welding procedure & parameters

DC+ (DCEP). All positions except VD. Preheat 200°C–300°C. PWHT mandatory (700°C–760°C). Re-dry 300°C–350°C/2 hrs.

Typical applications

High-temperature pressure vessels and piping for refinery, petrochemical, and power plant applications using 2¼Cr–1Mo steel (ASTM A387 Gr22, P22). Steam headers, superheaters.

Storage & handling notes

Mandatory PWHT required. H4 hydrogen level critical for this application. Strict moisture control.
